I combine processes, often utilizing contrasting materials and textures in my work. I think about negative spaces, shadows, subtle changes in nature, and suggestions of shifting or invisible forces, such as rack lines on a shore and gravity, tides, and wind. I love welding. I utilize found objects and salvaged materials when possible, and often, the objects I find will inspire the work.
