Julia Hill is an artist living in Atlanta, GA.

My studio practice incorporates many different genres, including performance, installation, puppetry, metal fabrication, carpentry, ceramics, drawing, and painting.

Current public art exhibitions include Art on the Beltline in Atlanta, Ga and Art in Public Places in Knoxville, TN (coming soon).

My large-scale puppets have been performed at The High Museum, The World of Coca-Cola, The Atlanta Zoo, The Hambidge Center, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and numerous regional parades and festivals.

In addition to studio pursuits, I work as a consultant and technical director, designing and constructing physical components for other artists and productions. I practice life-long learning, and am passionate about exploring creativity with others. I periodically teach a variety of community workshops and classes, including puppetry, ceramics, silk-screening, welding, and auto maintenance.
